  1. .   Contact the Attorney General's Office.  A letter from them may be just what is needed to get this fixed.  I wish you had told us the brand of the machine and the store that sold it to you.

  2. Call Atty Gen. office explain situation and call BBB  also call the business you bought it from and tell them you will publish their lemon and poor policy of customer satisfaction in the news paper.

  3. Call them and request a repair guy to come check it under warranty.  Maybe you will get a different guy that knows what to do.

  4. Have you been calling the store you bought it from or the manufacturer?  If you haven't called the manufacturer, call them directly and request that they intervene.  I'd also request that they extend the current warranty to cover the period of time that the machine has been unusable due to incompetency.

If this hasn't worked, then call your state's consumer agency as others have suggested.  I'd also send a certified letter to wherever you bought it, detailing the problems and demanding thatt he problem be fixed within 10 business days and a refund be issued.

  5. when you bought the washing machine did you take out a warranty? If you did then yes. You can get parts and labor for free. I would continue to call the 800 # for the washing machine. Tell them that this issue has been going on for months and that you want to resolve this asap. Document everything. Times you called and who you spoke to etc. Tell them that you like your washing machine but you need the piece to get it fixed for the fact that without this piece the washing machine is useless. You can return the machine if you have a warranty on it and if you have not gone over the allotted time.

If you continue to get no where with this company you could file with the better business bureau http://welcome.bbb.org/
