Legal matters..? ANSWER THE QUESTION!!!!?

So.. I want to make a shirt at this make a shirt website.

I want to use some Carlin quotes or some Sinfest quotes.

Sinfest is owned by a company and Carlin is dead.

But my question is: What can I use as a quote?

I mean I don't want to b sued. My stepfather says that as long as I don't make 100 copies and sell them I won't be in trouble.

What do you tihnk?

And don't tell me any ideas. Ialready have all of their books s don't even SUGGEST a quote. I want the legal info!

  1. Best way to do it is to attribute the quote to the person who said it.  If you put on the shirt something like..."According to George Carlin..." it shouldn't be a problem.  Think of the quote on the shirt as a source that needs to be verified, like a fact or quote used in a paper that needs a bibliographic reference.
