This is a little complicated.

I'm 17 and my resident card expired a couple years ago. My dad's a citizen so we just got done signing up for certificate of citizenship at USCIS but it's going to take several months. On the CA DMV legal requirements it says "Valid foreign passport with a valid Record of Arrival/Departure (form I-94)" I have a valid foreign passport with a stamp from SFO airport admitting me to America 2 years ago when i vacationed. Is that good enough for legal proof ?! USCIS also gave me an alien number, is that enough for legal proof ?! If you can give me alternatives for legal proofs that would be great.

  1. Your alien ID card has expired and cannot be used!  You are going to have to wait until you get your certificate of citizenship now.  A 2-year-old I-94 without proof that you have been here legally since then is not sufficient to prove legal residence.

  2. You alien ID card should be sufficient.

  3. us you alien immg docs.
