Legal to keep wild animals?

I know that in toronto you can keep sparrows and starlings as pets, but are there any wild mammals you can keep? I'm just curious.

it is illegal to keep wildlife without a permit even in Ontario.

My uncle had 2 little cute Desert Tortoises, but we went to Lake Mead to set them free :(. And yes that was illegal to have Desert Tortoises because they are endangered of something

depends where you live and what mammal it is, preotected speicies are a no.

dont know why anyone would want to keep a wild animal anyway.

in ontario it is illegal to keep any wild animals.  Especially if they are considered endangered or close to endangered.  I hope this helped you out.

yeh i got a lion in my yard no one comes trick or treating anymore :D
