Legal way to transfer money from one country to another?

Okay so, my dad might be selling his land at vietnam, but we're on a budget so, yeah he could fly there to receive the money, but is there another legal way to transfer it? Like, bank or so?

Pay Pal you can set up an account for free deposit the funds and then send them to another person with a pay pal account (you). I did this recently to receive funds from England works great!

Yes, Paypal works great, another way is that you put it inside a letter and mail it to your dad if the money is huge write it on a check. but i dont kinda trust any delivery company, i think the very best way is through a bank. he XD
