Legally can my employer not pay me??

Ok so i have been working at a company for a week now, and have been in training. This past friday my boss said some awful things to me that made me realize that i must quit right away. My question is this: Can he not pay me for this weeks work under the excuse that i was only "training" and not "working?" I assume that a normal person would pay me, but this dude is verrrry sketchy/creepy and might find a loophole in which he can withhold pay from me

(i dont think i signed anything that would bar me from being paid if i quit before i actually end training and start working)

** it actually was work, but its considered training because i was working under an experienced worker who checked my work for mistakes**

  1. No, They Must pay you.  The law states that you must be paid for every minute worked.  No if's ands or buts.

  3. He has to pay you "training pay" or equivalent. If you didn't fill out any forms, then you really don't have much to go on. Contact your Local Department of Labor and Industries to better answer this question

It depends on your employment status at the time you "worked" if you were an employee that was just being watched by another employee then your likely entitled to pay, but if it was a actual training they may not have to pay you,depends on your status and company policy regarding trainees ,someplaces even charge you for the training and others pay you but only if you successfully complete the training and get hired (then they pay you for the training hours,if you dont pas you dont get paid).
