Like example : Japan have the legend of "The slitted mouth woman",or "the woman which climb on stairs(i forgot the name..)" , while West Virginia have "The Moth Man" ... and So on to the San Francisco of the Lake bla bla...

What about your country/state ??? Whats the popular ghost around there?

i live in Texas and we have 'The llorona' here it is the second biggest Urban Legend in the country.

The Witch of North ______.  I don't want to give the town but it is said she cursed the town in the colonial days that nothing would grow there and people would die.  The spot that the town was on is now cellar holes and most of the homes burned down.  One man died falling from his rocking chair and breaking his neck, others drowned in the river.  Livestock died and the harvest failed.  At that point the town relocated to the other end of the town.  People that walk through the area have fallen in the cellar holes and broken their legs.  One family that moved to the outskirts of North ______ spoke of sleeping in the barn one night and woke up to there horse screaming and rearing.  When they looked up they say what looked like a phantom horse pass over there head and through the barn wall and there horse fell breaking it's leg.  It has been over 200 years and still the land is unoccupied.  The only building remaining is a one room school house.  It was abandoned for years and was just moved into as a home

within the last year.

This town is located in Massachusetts at least 30 miles from where they held the Salem Witch trials
