Legend of zelda phantom hourglass for ds bellum 1 problems?!?

hi i got to bellum 1 and i get to the part where you get the thing that stops time and i touch it and try to draw a hourglass figure but it just moves my character around like it normally does without touching the hourglass. and i really need to know how to do it cause u cant go any farther in the game. also i have heard that some other people have had this problem so can you please tell me whats wrong and how to do it right.

you have to draw the number 8. it may take a few tries but it works. you have to stop time again in part two. when bellum is just about to swoop down draw the number. that will give you the most time if you have to try drawing it more than once.

It's not a figure 8, it is an hourglass like you were doing. Just remember that when you press the Hourglass on the screen, that a border looking like a picture frame for a camera pops up. Once that pops up, go to the bottom of the screen and wait for Bellum to have his eye open when he goes around the room. Then draw the Hourglass. Remember you have to go from the top-left, to the top-right, to the bottom-left, to the bottom-right, and then back to the top-left. That will stop time for about 5-8 seconds. Slash your sword at Bellum while his eye is open. Hope this helps. Good Luck. Remember you need the border and have to draw an Hourglass. If you draw from the four corners of the border, it should stop time.

u need to draw a figure 8.it may take a few tries bu trust me it works i have that game and beat it. bellum takes control of linebeck on the sunked ghostship and u need to fight him.
