has also named a cricket stadium in his name The Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound which was built for the use in 2007 Cricket World Cup.

1978 playing a Test match against India at Bangalore. He played 81 Tests picking up 376 wickets at an impressive average of 20.94 and an economy rate of 2.68 per over. His bowling average of 20.94 is by far the best among the test bowlers who have picked 200
plus wickets in the five-day format of the game. The veteran pacer has 22 five wickets hauls and 4 ten wicket hauls under his belt.
Primarily Marshall was a world class pacer with an astounding line and length, however he also developed talent of batting and piled up 1810 runs from 81 Tests including 10 half centuries.
