Legends of Wrestling – Hulk Hogan – Part 2
Hulk Hogan as a wrestler completely changed the way wrestlers fought in the ring. He fought for many wrestling corporations and won different championships during his career. Hulk Hogan has the unbeaten record of the longest running WWE title reign as he was WWE Champion for four consecutive years. Hulk Hogan is also credited to have helped create one of the most famous wrestling groups of all time called the NWO (pack of wolves).
Hulk Hogan fought in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) with the same energy and won the WCW Championship 6 times between 1994 and 1999 by defeating many great wrestlers. Hulk Hogan faced a tough time in WCW as he battled with another great wrestler, Goldberg. Goldberg defeated Hulk Hogan and won the WCW Championship in front of thousands of people.
Hulk Hogan then came back to where he actually belonged and from where it all started; he came back to WWF. It was a huge return as no one expected Hulk Hogan would return after so many years.  Hogan faced one of the toughest challenges of his life when the most electrifying wrestler of all time, the people’s champ, the great one, The Rock was waiting for him. The Rock challenged Hulk Hogan for a match at Wrestle Mania XVIII to determine the absolute best of all times.
It was a moment to watch as Hulk Hogan agreed to the match and the crowd went crazy as it was a dream to watch these two great wrestlers fight in the same ring against each other. The Rock defeated Hogan in an epic match but Hogan still kept his spirits alive. Hulk Hogan then defeated Triple H to capture the WWE Championship for the 6th time in his career. It was a memorable sight as Hulk Hogan waved his WWE belt after so many years. Hulk Hogan then teamed with the Rated – R superstar, Edge to taste his first gold of the World Tag Team Championship.
After many years of fighting so many wrestlers, Hulk Hogan was still ready to face any one, any time in the wrestling ring. Hulk Hogan left WWE once again only to return at Wrestle Mania XXIII to receive the greatest honour of his life. It was the Wrestle Mania where Hulk Hogan was inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame. Thousands of fans were gathered from around the world to watch this ceremony and they cheered “One More Match” during Hulk Hogan’s speech.
Hulk Hogan was now old but he did not let his fans down as he came back on the day of Wrestle Mania and saved Eugene from an attack by Muhammad Hassan. Hulk Hogan always came back to the ring in one way or another. It was the Heart Break Kid, the Show Stopper, Shawn Michaels who requested Hulk Hogan to listen to the fans and return for one more fight. Hulk Hogan teamed up with Shawn Michaels and defeated the opponents at Backlash conveniently.
Hulk Hogan then fought a major match in his career in 2005 when he returned to Monday Night RAW. The legend killer, viper, Randy Orton delivered a R. K.O and slammed Hogan’s face on a car. That R. K.O was an insult to this great wrestler who deserved respect from the young Randy Orton. Hulk Hogan and Randy Orton faced each other on Summer Slam for an epic match. The perfect unbeaten record of Hulk Hogan at Summer Slam stayed the same as he defeated the viper and proved to the world that he still has what it takes to be the wrestling champion.
