Leggings / shorts question? HELP!(:?

ok, so i have these shorts. http://www.hollisterco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10251_10201_413587_-1_12645_12552 (green) and there obviously too short for school. so i was thinking of wearing leggings under them so i could wear them to school. is that still in style or will i look silly? and what color would go best?

I wouldn't personally. The whole plaid thing makes leggings look kind of tacky. I love the shorts though. It is a bummer that hollister's stuff is SO short, and tight for that matter. Getting away with those in school would be tough. I don't know about your school but in my school your shorts are supposed to be down to like the middle of your thigh. Of course some girls don't follow that, but the ones that get caught have to wear their gym shorts, which TOTALLY sucks. But back to your shorts. You could still wear them on weekends and to go out with your friends. Stay away from the shorts and leggings though. Hope i helped! Peace

Ew, no don't do that. The only way I have ever and will ever wear leggings and shorts is to play rehearsal or dance class-don't do it at school.

By the way, I love the shorts- I would just wear them

i wore leggings under my shorts, once...

for fashion disaster day. i wouldn't recommend it. i think it looks silly. but do  what YOU want to do.

try short denims and colorful leggings.

Okay, I'm really big on the whole "If the stores are selling it, it's in style" tactic, but I really, really, REALLY think that shorts & leggings are not in style. Ever. The shorts, firstly, are really loud & leggings would just add to it, flip flips wouldn't look nice, they'd cut you off short. I think leggings are only nice when you wear a dress & boots or a cute, edgy skirt & chunky layered type thing on top. Maybe buy plaid bermudas? I admire your knowledge on shorts not being good for school.
