  1. I'm a stay at home mom. I startes my own business 10 months ago and it has been a true blessing to us. My husband and i both do this as our full time jobs it has passed up our full time incomes in the first 3 months doing it and know we share this with as many people as we can!!!!!! www.thefortunedvd.com LET US HELP YOU!!!!

  2. Hello,

Great post.  The most important part of business is advertising.  This makes or breaks a business.  Some of the best ways to advertise I've found are:

    1.  Offline promoting (business cards, flyers, newspaper and other print advertising).

    2.  Online promoting (buying banner ads, forum posts, email auto replies).

The best method that's worked for me so far is handing out business cards.  I don't do this in the usual way.... I buy them in bulk from a place online (they give the cards for free, I just  paid shipping and handling...they also give a really nice free business card holder, it looks impressive).  They're really high quality.  I just put all of the info about my business on the cards, and I hand them out on cars at bus stations, malls, etc.  It's worked out really, really well for me, and it's completely inexpensive =)

    Good Luck with your business!

  3. I started a travel tip and hints website.  With little knowledge of the internet I was able to make a site that earns an income.

It was easy but not quick. After months of nothing it is finally bringing in the $$$.

Visit http://www.cheap-fun-family-travel.com it might work for you.

  4. You can find legitimate work at home jobs at Virtual Job Connection.

  5. The work from home jobs that aren't scams actually require work on your part - and if you're in need of money soon then you're likely to be sorely disappointed in any of those as well. Most of the legit opportunities out there take time to build - so if someone makes an outrageous claim of income it probably isn't true ( and those that are true sure didn't make that kind of money when they first began ).

Time & effort required - but do your own research on what is best for you, don't take the advice of myself and others as gospel from this type of public website.

I have other ideas that may help - one of them is an online opportunity but another is one that will require a little effort to market yourself - try some data entry for local businesses, many of them don't have the time to do it in-house and will gladly pay someone else to do it. Professionals are a good place to start, lawyers, doctors, chiropractors, etc - they need their "in-house" folks doing other things rather than busy work.

  6. Are you wanting to get out of the house at all or do everything at home? Depending on your answer I have a few options.

  7. "If a company requires initial payment from you in order to work for them, they are not legitimate."

There are a few legitimate data entry companies but are not hiring and have large waiting lists (1-2yrs). The majority of data entry jobs you seen online are scams. A real company will want you to have skills inc fast typing, may want you to know MS Excel, and will usually ask that you have high speed internet. Once in a long while you may found one online on a job website but thats rare.

If you do an advanced search on yahoo, you will find previous answers, sometimes the info on these is good as the info they gave is likely to have been verified if the answer was voted as 'Best'.

  8. See: http://www.MumWorkAtHome.com if you are interested. I know that there are some companies listed in this website that offers legitamate work at home jobs that do not require you to pay them any upfront fees.

    Hope it helps.

  9. There are quite a few legitament work at home places.  I'm a stay at home mom of four.  Both my husband and I have our own home based business in the telecommunications industry.  We both work at home to be with our children. I know others who work at home in different industries.  Both parents are home working their business.  I'm not sure what your interests are, so I'll refer you over to an article that has several different industries to take a look at.

If you don't want a business to run out of your home, then you need to look into home based job opportunities.  Here's a place that will help you find one of those.

Either way, all companies listed for you to look at are legitament companies.  You just need to figure out 1-the income level you desire, and 2)if you want your own business or a job and 3) what industry do you want to get involved in and your experiences.

    Good Luck!

  10. Just remember honestly if the site ever ask you for any upfront / initial / deposit then it's a scam. Lots of scams going on out there. Check out what kind of scams there are online.

  11. There is a lot of competition for work from home jobs. I got started using online freelance sites, and ultimately built a business with clients that I found through them.

The first link is mainly programming, but there are other jobs there as well.

You may have more luck with the third website.
