Ok so i wanna make a little lego house for my fish tank. Last time i made one but it floated. It had like 3 little windows a door and some little holes. This time i wanna make one that is just a square and with one door ( including a ceiling and floor ). Do you think it will float this time?

  1. Very unique idea, I would love to have my kids make a lego castle for my tank, but Ludka (albino tiger oscar) would destroy it in front of them!! Unfourtunatly I cannot see any lego decore stay on the bottom of the tank...but cool idea though!

  2. It will still float as it is not made to be used in a fish tank.

  3. Well, the problem with Legos is that they are regular plastic and not made for use in fish tanks. Fish are super sensitive to chemicals. The chemicals in the Legos could leach out into the water and potentially poison your fish. Also, they are going to float no matter what. You'd be better off getting them a tank decoration at a pet store and so would they :) Hope that helped

  4. Legos will always float lol. If you want it to really stay down, you're going to have to use something that will lock it down in one spot. To get the house to stay you may have to use something that will make it permanently stay there. Unless you want the house to stay in one spot forever, I suggest you just buy a neat house for the fish to stay in. I completely agree with Lolo. The plastic and chemicals in the legos can badly effect your fish. Do what's best for them, just buy something in a pet store. I'm sure they will appreciate it :)

  5. The house will still float. The legos themselves are far too dense and unless you had something to weigh it down, it would, no matter what style of house you build, float.

    :D Very neat idea though.
