ive been running at a track for most of the month. i ca run a little over a mile comfortably without slowing down. ive been gradually increasing this distance. when i get tired, i then walk several laps, until i get to my 20 lap goal. 4.5 laps is a mile. for the past 1 week or so, when i wake up in the mornings, my legs have this antsie feeling in them. it doesn't tingle or anything, it kinda compares to when you have been sitting in a chair for a long time listening to a boring speech, but you are just dying to get up. its kinda equivalent to that. i dont run everyday. i usually go every other day and rest on weekends.

  1. stretch, drink more water, and just rest on the weekends. This may be your body's way of saying it needs more activity.

  2. You need to stretch, especially after your run, and even on your off days.  Hold your stretches for 15 seconds or so, and do it two or three times.  Go through the whole routine.  I know it's boring, but it'll help your legs recover and feel better.  It will probably help you run for a longer period of time as well.  Good luck!

  3. This sounds like leg fatigue. I get it all the time. Dont worry as long as it goes away with your rest days. In a few months you;ll get the same feeling after a much longer workout. A month is not long at all to condition your muscles. When the fatigue completely goes away, speed up or increase mileage and it'll come back. When the body is tired , it means that you did it right. If you hadnt stressed the muscles, there would be no fatigue. good running

  4. drink more water and stretch a lot when you are done running.  It sounds like your a little dehydrated and building up lactic acid in your muscles which is common.  Stretching is the key to lengthen your mucles so they get more oxygen.
