  1. make sure you stretch a lot before and after and rememeber to ease back into training because your body is rested you dont want to waste that new energy by over doing things too early.

  2. idk why your legs are hurting but i can give you tips on how to prevent it. First off, make sure that you are not going straight into your workout. You always have to warmup and then stretch before you begin. Make sure that you are not forcing yourself to do workouts your body cant handle, you can start easy and then work your way up. If neither of those are the problem then you can easily just apply icy hot before you warmup and it will kill the pain while your running so you wont feel it. If you decide not to use icy hot then you can wait until the workouts over and you can ice your legs, this works the best for long term results! My legs were hurting and that was the advice that my coach and personal trainer gave me.

  3. It could just be lack of practice. Your legs get used to a certian way of being, and after 2 weeks, who'd blame them?

If you run on a track, the force of the ground and your legs, can make way for big knee problems in the future.

Try running on grass when you practice until you are fit and ready again.

Try not to take so long off next time!
