  1. Sorry But peoplelike you have to get a answer from some that is NICE TO YOU

SO HUN PUSH THE EXIT DELETE button and get a real opinion

Not just what you want to hear

  2. it's not so much heels down as put your weight in your feet.  if your weight is in the saddle, your feet will swing.  if your weight is properly distributed in your feet, they won't swing. as for the back pain - i would look at posture, saddle and then recommend some basic strengthening moves

  3. Your legs will swing no matter what you do if your lower leg is out of position.  Make sure your legs are in the right position before you post.  With the horse standing still, stand up in your stirrups, note the position of your legs, then sit back down without shifting your lower leg.  That's the correct position.  Try doing this a few times until you get the hang of it.

If your leg is too far forward, you have to swing it back under you to stand on your stirrup.  Put it directly under you.

If your leg is swinging in and out, rather than forward and back, try not completely relaxing as you return to the saddle and sit.  Keep a quarter of your weight off the saddle.  This should provide enough consistency to keep the leg still while you build up muscle.

Back pain...  can't tell without more details, but even 15 year olds sometimes need to develop core strength and flexibility.

    Happy Riding!

  4. wow, the 1st answer was rude.  "what are you fat"??  honestly... how would you feel if someone asked you that?

    Anyway...

About the trotting, your leg probably swings because you're trying to use your stirrups too much to post.  Your legs should help you stand up off of the horse's back, not your toes.  Next time you ride, try when you post to not put weight on your toes, but on your heels.  When you go up for your post, make your heels go down and forward.  Every time you go up, push your heels toward the horse's ears... you can think about it even as if you're trying to kick with your heel the horse's leg... it's that sort of a motion... push your heel forcefully down and forward every time you stand up for the post.  You should also remember to have good leg contact with your horse... your upper leg should be doing most of the work to get you out of the saddle...don't pinch with your knee, but use your inner thigh to lift yourself up.

As for the cantering... depending on the horse, my back hurts after cantering too.  I really don't know what to tell you.  If I knew a way to prevent it, then I'd do it so my back doesn't hurt for the 2 days after I ride.

  5. The first anwser was rude,

besides that   try ridding with no stirrups or bare back without holding on ,try slow posting at the walk two point  or posting at the trot and two point  or posting at the canter also try jumping it is hard but it works.so pretty much just work without stirrups try a little more each day you until  your leags arnt loose but then still do that so you wont get out of shape
