Welford road based English professional Rugby Union club, Leicester Tigers, has announced their 23-man squad for the upcoming 2011/12 Aviva Premiership’s eighth round encounter against the
London Irish. Officials at the club have confirmed the announcement of the squad in a statement released on their official website on Friday, November 4.

Leicester Tigers Director of Rugby, Richard Cockerill, has expressed his desire that the team repeat their good performance, which they displayed in their last encounter against the Sales Sharks.
He said, “We had a good win at Sale last week but it is just one game and we know we have to build on that.”
Cockerill expressed his confidence in his side and believes they will built on their performance against the Sale Sharks. He added, “We have to be looking for a more complete performance moving
on from here because we made some errors at Sale, especially in the first half.” He termed London Irish as very dangerous side. He recalled they have scored plenty of tries when they last played against them at the Welford Road, last year.
Cockerill added that players like Manu Tuilagi, Ben Youngs, Anthony Allen, Billy Twelvetrees and Mathew Tait are still recovering from their respective injuries. However, he has shown his delight
