Leicestershire were victorious in the first Semi-Final of the Friends Life Twenty20 against Lancashire at the Edgbaston, Birmingham in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 on Saturday, August 27, 2011.
The outcome of the game was decided on the one-over eliminator, as the match was tied. There was plenty of action at the Edgbaston, as rain had delayed start of play. 18 overs were allotted to each team due to the loss of time.

First-drop Will Jefferson did not seem to have much problem once he came out to bat. The seasoned player attacked the opposition’s bowlers and collected a quick fire 23 runs off 15 balls with the help of five boundaries. His cameo came to an end in the fifth
over of the innings.
