Leicestershire v Northamptonshire: Clydesdale Bank 40 - Match Recap

Leicestershire eased to victory by five wickets and 56 balls remaining against Northamptonshire in a Group B match of the Clydesdale Bank 40, at the Grace Road, Leicester in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 on Sunday, July 24, 2011.
The visitors were restricted to 206 runs in their allotted 40 overs. Their skipper, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Andrew-Hall-c1040, was the top scorer of the innings with a terrific knock of 67 runs.

Leicestershire went off to tremendous start, as the playing conditions had eased out for batting. The team’s openers Cobb and McDonald put together 58 runs for the first wicket before the latter got out after scoring 35 runs.
There were some little contributions from the middle-order, but they were more than enough, as Cobb batted until the end. He collected 91 runs from 88 balls, guiding his side to an easy win by five wickets.
Middlebrook took a couple of wickets for Northamptonshire, but was unable to guide his side to victory.
