Things went awry for the team from http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Leicestershire-c807 as they lost the toss and were put in to bat by their opposition on a bouncing wicket, which helped the bowlers right from the word and made life extremely difficult for the batting side.
32-year-old pacer, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Jon-Lewis-c1726 Cobb, who fell after scoring a knock of nine runs. At the time of his wicket, Leicestershire had managed to amass only
12 runs on the board.
Then with 26 runs on the board, the side suffered the demise of their second wicket when J du Toit found his way off the field after belting 11 runs off 10 deliveries, his wicket was also taken by Pattinson.

In times like these, Sarwan was his side’s best hope; however, the ace batsman was the next to hit the showers as he was caught and bowled by Mullaney after hammering a humble knock of 13 runs. By this time, the batting side had bolstered 56 runs on the
board and were in dire need for a big partnership from someone.
Nottinghamshire bowlers on the other hand, were up to speed and prevented the batting side from making a comeback as they kept bagging wickets at almost regular interval.
