Lancashire secured an easy six-wicket win against Leicestershire at Grace Road to move third in Group A of the Clydesdale Bank 40 competition, on July 22, 2012.

http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Michael-Thornely-c1967 for 11, to leave the home side in trouble at 68 for 4.
However, Leicestershire’s innings was rescued by Matt Boyce and 18-year-old Thakor, both of whom hit half-centuries. Their stand of 96 mainly comprised of singles and doubles, with Boyce managing just two fours from his 53-run knock.
After his dismissal, Thakor took over, hitting Chapple for two boundaries. However, the veteran fast bowler still managed to hold things tight, claiming three late-order wickets as Leicestershire closed in on a reasonable 218.
The reply was emphatic as openers http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Moore-c77694 and Prince added 108 for the first wicket. The former remained the aggressor, hitting seven boundaries on his way to 60 before falling off Thornely.
Prince and Croft then shared another huge stand, which helped their side to 205. However, Croft held his end strong, finishing on 57 not out to help his side earn their fifth win of the competition.
