I am starting my 1st year in nursing program next week. I was told that the length of stethoscopes's tubing should not be more than 27" during the orientation. I would like to buy one made by Littmann's though. Hardly any within 27" length size. My height is 5'7". Is 28" lenght is too long for me?? Can any one help? Thanks.

  1. Its more like a quideline not a specific.  You will be fine with a Littmann. Thats the only stethy I use b/c you can hear really well.  This is more important than the length of the stethy.
