Hi there, hope that someone could help me. I am using Thinkpad R61.
Theproblem occurs when i am using the units with the battery that
iswithout the power adapter. Somehow, everything's run smoothly
duringthe boot up. The problem will start when entering windows vista.
Itkeeps making the hissing sound like beeping all the way. But, when
iplug in the power adapter, the sound will dissappear. I already
tookthe machine to the IBM service centre, they changed the motherboard
andthere is still the sound. They also informed me that they could
notfigure out for the problem. Thank you.
