Lens cleaner scratched my ps2 lens?

I have been using a lens cleaning disc (with the brushes on the bottom) ever since I got my ps2, last christmas. I have used it a total of about 5 times. I just noticed the other day, the disc says "not to be used with x-box or any gaming system).

Should I be worried? I cannot see any scratches visible on the lens, it looks clean and shiny as a whistle. What would happen if in fact my lens WAS scratched? Would it make my games play at low frame rates? Or would they just crash?

I would stop using it because just because it is clean doesnt mean it can't crash.
