Lens not moving. I'm having a problem with my 3320 digital camera not adjusting the focus.

I'm having a problem with my 3320 digital camera not adjusting the focus. Whenever I turn the camera ON, the camera comes ON but the lens does not come out causing blurred pictures. When using the T & W buttons, I can hear noise from within the camera but nothing is moving.When taking a picture, it takes a little longer for the camera to actually take the picture and I hear a beep beep noise. I tried removing the batteries and reinserting them and cycling the power on the camera but nothing worked.
