Lens problems on the GE A830 camera?

Every time I turn on my camera to take a picture it says Lens Error. I just got my camera last December so it isn't old. What could I have done to cause this? And does anyone know if there's a way to fix it, or if I take it in, can the GE place fix it? Has this happened to anyone?

Find a wolf's camera shop. They can usually send it away for you to be fixed. If you bought it through Best Buy or Circuit City - take it to their store if you have insurance as they'll send it off to be fixed. If you don't have insurance, but you're under the manufacturer's warranty - I'd go online and find their customer service department and ask about how to mail it to them for fixing. The question is - do you have your receipt and are you still under warranty?
