Lenscrafters Yearly Eye Exams?

Hi, I wear contact lenses (which I buy from Lenscrafters), and I was just wondering, considering I haven't been needing new contacts for about a year and a half, I need to go buy some new ones. Is it mandatory at Lenscrafters (in Canada) to have a yearly eye exam in order for them to sell you contact lenses?

Yes, you must have the eye exam done again to make sure that nothing has changed before they can fill the prescription for new contacts.
