Why do I always hear from people here that opposite signs make a great match except for Leo and Aquarius?

I don't want silly,agressive answers about how bad Leo is or how aloof Aquarius is.Please,I want serious answers.

Leos want to be the head of their surroundings while Aquariuses want to change them.

Not necessarily.Not all opposite signs make a great match. The Venus signs,moon signs and mars signs have to be checked for compatibility.I am a Sagittarius and I find Gemini gals to be crazy.Now I am dating a wonderful Sagittarius gal who is not a good match for me according to sun sign compatibility.
