The Paris Saint-Germain sporting director is pondering to keep the likes of Hoarau, Bodmer, Chantome and others at the Parc des Princes for next season
Since his appointment, Paris Saint-Germain coach, Carlo Ancelotti has many a times said that he does not want to bring whole-scale changes to the club in the transfer market. True to his word, apart from Mevlut Erdinc, no one left the club in the January
transfer window.
As the summer transfer window is rapidly approaching, a host of PSG players before the Qatari era, have been linked with moves away from the Parc.
The likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zoumana-Camara-c38101 have been linked with moves away from the club. As the club seeks to become a strong presence in Europe next season, many slots have to be emptied in favour of big names.
However, reports claim that Leonardo is not sure whether he will let the old guard leave this summer. The sporting director feels that he should retain services of these players so that they can continue their Parisian adventure.
Zoumana Camara, who is under contract until June 2013, is the main player Leonardo wants to stay. Though he is 33, the defender’s influence and big-brother-like attitude has been deemed important in the dressing room.
Ditto for Mathieu Bodmer, whose contract expires next year. Ancelotti is very impressed by the Frenchman’s versatility and wants him to stay at the club.
This season, Nene has been in fine form for the Ile giants. In the league, the Brazilian is level on goals (21) with Olivier Giroud as the league’s topscorer. And, despite his many outbursts, Ancelotti has grown fond of Nene and wants to manage him next
season in which PSG will also play in the Champions League.
Guillaume Hoarau has proven to be a great team player and Ancelotti does not want to part with him. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nicolas-Douchez-c27810 who is frustrated at his situation.
Certainly, by keeping few players from the pre-Qatari era, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Leonardo-c22056 knows that the team unity won’t be affected and players won’t feel alienated even if they don’t get many chances to impress.
