The Paris Saint-Germain sporting director has dismissed reports claiming that Les Parisiens are in contact with the Chelsea full back regarding a possible move to Parc des Princes in January

However, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Leonardo-c22056, the sporting director of the French club has rubbished such reports and has stressed there is no truth behind such rumours and PSG are not in the race to sing the 32-year-old.
While talking to reporters, the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ashley-Cole-c6809 and there has never been any contact with the Chelsea player. The player has been linked with a move to the Parc in
recent months but the sporting director of the capital club has ruled out the possibility of signing the player in the winter transfer window.
"We have never spoken with Ashley Cole, there has never been any contact with the player whatsoever," he told reporters.
Leonardo added that in his view, the main reason behind all these speculations is that Carlo Ancelotti has coached Ashley Cole in the past and that’s why this story is getting so much publicity.

The future of the midfielder is far from certain in Serie A and there is a possibility that the oil-money-fuelled club from Paris would bring the player
to France.
However, Leonardo has ruled out making any such move. The 43-year-old said that Paris Saint-Germain have never contacted the former Real Madrid man. PSG already have several midfielders at their disposal and they certainly don’t need another player in that
position.
"Sincerely, we have never contacted http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wesley-Sneijder-c36799 to come to PSG. We have five players in his position already, we don’t need him," Leonardo said
