Paris Saint-Germain sporting director insists that he personally took up the challenge to rebuild the Paris giants and is willing to see it through.
Leonardo has rejected all rumours linking the sporting director with a move to Inter Milan, and insists that although he enjoys a good rapport with the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan president, Massimo Moratti, he has no plans of moving to the Nerazzurri in the near future.
A report in France has recently claimed that the Brazilian is all set for a move to his former club in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926.
The Paris Saint-Germain sporting director insisted that he is satisfied with the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 he is doing at the moment. The executive insisted that he willingly took up the challenge to reform the capital club, and is determined to see it through to the end.
While talking to the press, the former AC Milan manager said:
“I’m happy wherever I find myself. I’ve never left a country for personal reasons. I decided to take up this challenge in Paris and I would like that to continue.”
The PSG official went on to say that he maintains a good contact with all the clubs with which he has worked in the past. The former Inter manager assured that he has a good relationship with the Inter bosses, but the topic of return to Nerazzurri has not
been under any discussion between them.
“Inter? I am in touch with a lot of clubs, especially those with which I have worked for in the past. I have an excellent relationship with President Massimo Moratti, but I haven’t spoken about a return to the Nerazzurri.”
Moreover, esteemed football agent Dario Canovi has also rejected the claim of the executive's move as rubbish, stating that the former coach never gave him the impression that he wanted to move away, in a recent conversation between them. He insisted that
there is apparently no reason for the sporting director to leave his job in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899, and pursue a position at Inter Milan.
Leonardo left Inter Milan in the summer of 2011, after deciding that he did not want to continue serving as a coach for the Milan outfit. The former coach was handed the job after the dismissal of Rafael Benitez from the manager’s position.
