Leonid Fedun reveals Spartak Moscow performance under Valery Karpin and transfer plans
Spartak Moscow president, Leonid Fedun, believes that the Myaso are struggling under the leadership of their head coach, Valery Karpin, and insisted that the Red-White deserve a top spot in the Russian Premier League. The club president was speaking to the
media after claiming a draw against CSKA Moscow.
Spartak Moscow managed to claim a point in their previous league encounter against the Koni after securing a 2-2 draw at home. Fedun highlighted that Spartak are going through a rough period after elimination from UEFA Europa League play-offs round against
Legia Warsaw.
The Ukrainian national lamented the Myaso performance against Legia by revealing that the Red-White missed an excellent chance to play in European championship. The Moscow-based club took a two-goal lead in their first half but conceded three goals in the
second half to claim a shocking defeat at home.
Fedun highlighted that the Myaso head coach has guaranteed him a top three finish at the end of the second round of the Russian Championship. The Russian billionaire revealed that he is waiting for the club to reclaim glory by claiming a top spot on the
league table.
“CSKA had a week to prepare for this meeting, and we had a few days after the match against Legia. I have invested wisely to this team and I think that we provided every opportunity to Karpin in order to refine the club. I had changed six coaches. During

The club president was quoted as saying.
