ok so i bought a humid hide at the pet store (you know the ones that look like rocks with the hole in the side for the gecko to get into.) and i put the reptile moss in their to aid in shedding my only consurns are when he is shedding and if it all doesn't come off(like the toes or anything can i help him out. cause i was reading on a website to have him sooke his feet in warm water then use a que tip to roll off the shedded skin. my question is is this safe i mean hes never had a problem i just need to know if this is correct. And another thing could he get impacted from the moss in the humid hide or would it be like eating greens?

  1. I don't know about the moss, but soaking in water is the best option for getting dead skin off. My lizard is having trouble shedding too, and i find that the best thing to get the skin off (especially his head and eyes) is warm water with a bit of aloe in it.  Works a charm! good luck
