Leopard geckos are great pets very docile and can be handled a lot. They are very easy to take care off. Because they always use one part of the cage for a bathroom once you know where he poops you can put a paper towel there and he will use it like a litter box and when he goes just remove the papertowel and put a new one in. They eat crickets, meal worms (I dont reccomend meal worms), wax worms (only occasionaly as wax worms are high in fat and should only be given as a treat), Large Leopard geckos can eat pinky mice (not too often), super worms, silkworms, locusts, and cockaroaches, all insects should be dusted with calcioum powder (buy a special type of calcioum powder from a pet store for leopard geckos pour some in a bag and put some crickets in the bag and shake til the crickets are white) also provide a shallow bowl of calcioum powder in the leopard geckos enclosure. They get to be 8-9 in. from snout to vent, so the enclosure should be about 20 gallons. In the enclosure you should provide a bowl of calcioum a hiding place (you can buy one at a pet store) then a substrate (thats a bedding) the substrate should be any one of these newsprint, butcher paper, paper towels, indoor-outdoor carpeting, inkless news print, slate rock. Don't use sand because if the gecko accidentaly swallows some it can become impacted which can be fatal. Leopard geckos under 6" should only be kept on paper towel. You do need to heat the cage with a light that has a tempature of about 88 degrees farenheit but put this light on one side of the cage so he can have a cooler place at the other side. The humidity should be under 40% (you can monitor this with a hygrometer) and you should have a moist hiding place for your leopard gecko. Such as a tuba ware container flipper over and cut a hoe on the bottom and put moss in there and moist the moss, with a sprayer. As for decor with the cage, fake plants are good with some hiding places, thats about it.

Hope I answered your questions if I didn't you can check out this website it is awesome.
