Question:

Leopard gecko digging holes?

my male leopard gecko of 7 years (i think) has recently been digging holes. out in the open, in his shelter, and by the water dish. is this normal? i know that he is a male so he can't be pregnant and he hasn't been with other geckos since i got him. can anyone help?

  1. i think it's normal one of mine was doing it too.


  2. have you recently done a tank clean,he can do this to have his enviroment the way he wants it,maybe its bordom maybe its time to get him a friend seven yrs alone would be pretty frustrating.

  3. Many reptiles and amphibians do this if it time to mate or the weather is too hot or dry.

  4. its normal leopard geckos actually hide underground in the wild so its just something leo's do

  6. i would go to the pet store i had three leperd gekos and they

    have never done that  so bring him to the pet store mabie they

    can help

  7. most of the geckos usually dig holes for shelter and comfort.. nothing to worry about.
