Ok so i posted stuff not so long ago about my female leo who i had to take to the vet for a check up and parasite screening which she tested negative. She lost a pretty good 12 grams rapidly, her tail is getting skinnier and she is just pooping nasty diaherra but that all stopped now and she started to eat a little but not alot only about 2-3 crickets a day sometimes only 1 and her poo became more solid like but occassionally she still has a wet poo. I asked the vet and she said she would have to do all this stuff like x-rays and ect that all sounded expensive and she doesnt even know if that stuff will find the problem. So its past almost a week or so and she was eating very little and today she went after a cricket and took a strike at it and had it in her mouth and chewed it once and spat it out and went back into her hide. Why did she do this? Shes becomming a real problem now and i dont know what to do. I have tried mealworms but she doesnt go after them and neither after waxworms

  1. wait longer and if she continues then u can take it back to the vet just in case

  2. I would wait a little bit longer before doing the x-rays and stuff, and try a few different things. First, check your lighting. Some say UV rays dont do anything for your leo, but thats not true. It help the leo digest its food. Also, make sure that your leo is getting its food dusted with calcium powder, and that your food is gut loaded. It also could be with the heat. If tempatures are too high, leos dont eat. Instead too much overhead heat, try a heating pad.
