Leopard gecko from petco?

Ok so i bought a leopard gecko from petco and Ive had it for 6 days and it hasn't eaten once so i called petco and told them they said if i brought him to the store the could take it to a vet will they charge me the vet bill?

  1.   for one they cant charge you if you dont give them your name. second check their refund or enchange policy. I would return it if poss. Petco has very poor breeder set up where they get all thier pets. It is truely sad. Check it out on you tube, that might answer why it in so bad shape, they inbreed, and never give them vitamins,etc.


  2. 15 day warranty. But make sure he is okay first.

  3. no you have a 15 day warranty so if you bring it to them they will cover the vet bill as long as you bring your receipt and the gecko

There may not be anything wrong with it.  When being put into a new environment its common for them to take at least a week before they settle down to the point where they will eat.  Mine took almost two weeks.  I would still take it to the vet if you can get the checkup for free.  If you have to pay I would consider waiting it out for a few more days.  Just call them up and ask them  who pays.  Like the others said there is a guarantee so you shouldn't have to.
