  1. You should be fine especially with the gut loading, there is no difference between the frozen/freezedried and live. I work in a petstore and there are tons of customers that would kill to be in your position because most reptiles especially gekos wont eat anything that isnt moving. so your good to go, no worries and keep gut loading


  2. You're lucky they will take dead insects, and yes, they should work as well as live ones provided you don't freeze them for a long period of time.  Just like people food, the crickets are subject to freezer burn and dehydration.

    So, long as you're not freezing them longer than a month or so, I wouldn't think it would make any difference.


  3. In my experience, Leopard Gecko's won't eat crickets if they're not moving.
