when i went to turn on her sun lamp this morning i found huge clumps of sand balls on her cave. I have never seen her p**p look like that before. she has been eating normally, and i make sure that i feed her in her burrow so she doesn't eat any sand. was she impacted and passed it? I am changing her substrate to carpet after this.

  1. she is obviously ingesting the sand so it is a good idea to change it until she is older, hopefully she has pooped all the sand out but just keep an eye on her, if she stops eating then get her checked by a vet.

  2. Good idea.

  3. my leopard gecko did that 2

so i was worried i would change it to carpet when leopard geckos p**p like that then that means they are starting a compaction process and after a while they will die unless u change the substrate asap so when that hapened to my gecko i knew she wasnt old enough for sand so ill wait till shes older
