  1. It always helps if we know how old the gecko is, how long you've had it, and how long this behavior has been going on.

Crickets "in there" is not a good idea.  They won't be gut loaded (nutritious) after a day, and they could actually be bothering her to the point where she's stressed and won't eat at all.

The thin tail is not a good thing.  Are you keeping this Leo on sand?  She could be impacted, and unable to move her bowels as well not be able to eat.  She could be too cool, and unable to digest properly.  It could be any number of problems.

I'll post a few links below.  Check the one on illnesses first, and see if you recognize what her problem is.

Your gecko is in trouble.  She needs to see a vet.  If you don't already know of a qualified exotics/reptile vet in your area, you can google "herpetological society" or http://www.herpvetconnection.com/ for the closest one in your area.

I sure hope she recovers and is feeling better soon.

  2. is he/she shedding?

my geckos dont eat when their about to shed. you know if their going to shed because they go paler than before.

if he/she needs to put on weight fast, try waxworms, they are fattening and help get your geckos tail plump.

but dont overdo the waxworms! otherwise your gecko might become unhealthy.

i think of waxworms as a geckos mcdonalds. high in fat, makes you gain weight and is good as a treat!

  3. Reptile vet
