Leopard gecko vivarium temperature.?

Question

I was wondering what the temperature should be in the vivarium at either side of the tank (warm, and cooler side).

Also, i have a heating lamp and a heating pad. How would i work these 2 together, would i use the lamp during the day and heating pad at night or both the lamp and pad during the day and shut off the lamp at night, etc.

The warm side should be around 85 F and the cool side down to 75 F.

I would just use the lamp during the day, and turn it off at night and then use the heat pad. Although you will only need the heat pad if the temperatures drop below 70 F at night.
