Les Pual Special 2????

Question

are the les paul special 2s by epiphone good because i am thinking about getting one. right now i have a peavy srat and it has very bad sound quality and the frets are cheap and too much feedback. Should i get a new guitar or stick with the old one? i am actually pretty good
