Balotelli has almost always been in the headlines, ever since he went on to join City. However, most of the time he has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

However, despite everyone being frustrated with the attacker and his actions, it seems like Lescott has started to sympathise with him.

When talking about his team mate and his actions in the past, Lescott is quoted to have said: "[Mario] needs to look at his performances and if he sees he's disappointed the lads, it's great that he's realised that"
"He's a young lad, we all make mistakes and it's going to happen."
The centre back also went on to highlight the fact that making mistakes and learning from them was all about growing up and that it was only a matter of time before you learned just what to do and what not to do.
He added: "When I was his age I was making mistakes in the Championship and it was going unnoticed."
Despite almost always ending up in trouble every now and then, the striker has also almost always been present to help his team win games.
He manages to score crucial goals and when he isn’t scoring, he helps the team move forward and picks up an assist or two every now and then.
All in all, Balotelli is a crucial asset for any team to have, but his constant off the field activities seem to get the better of him.
