Manchester City defender, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Joleon-Lescott-c18941 has gone on to admit that he wants to end his career at the Etihad Stadium, which is why he is hoping to put pen to paper in the near future.
At the moment, there hasn’t been much progress in regards to the player signing a new deal with the team. However, despite that fact Lescott is rather calm about the situation that he finds himself in. The defender is keen to continue playing as a professional,
and will hope for his contract situation to sort itself out.
When talking about his future at the club, Lescott is reported to have said: "I've got this [season] and one more. I would love to extend it and finish my career here but's that for another day”
"I'm just focused on doing the job this season and, if that brings an extension, then great.”

"Going knocking on doors isn't really my style. That's not in my character and I don't think my mum would be very happy with me if I did that. I just continue to play well and do a professional http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684.”

"I know where I've come from. A few years ago I was playing at Plymouth on Tuesday nights; now Tuesday nights mean Champions League. I'm grateful for what I have, so I won't be rocking the boat."
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international also went on to admit that he was disappointed with the fact that he didn’t feature in the game against Real Madrid. Lescott claimed that he really wanted to play in one of the best stadiums in the world, against one of the best
teams in the world.
Nonetheless, despite him missing out on the first leg, there is still a very strong probability that he will make an appearance in the return leg, later on.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 has so far remained quiet over his plans for Lescott, but given the level of performances that ht defender has been putting in, it is safe to assume that the team would be more than happy to keep him around.
It is now a wait to see just what the future holds for Lescott at City.
