Manchester City’s defender, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Joleon-Lescott-c18941 has insisted that City won’t let Manchester United win the league at the Eastlands.
The blue side of Manchester currently trail the Red Devils by a massive eight points and with just six games to go in the season, many believe the title race is over.
However, despite that fact, Lescott has insisted that City won’t let United win their league title on the 30th of April when the two teams meet, as City will be looking to crush United one more time.
When talking about the upcoming game, the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international is quoted to have said: "We don't want to let them win it at the Etihad Stadium. We'll do everything in our power not to let that happen.”

"It's not going to mean much if we do the double over United and lose the league but I'm sure that when that game comes around everyone will be raring to go."
At the same time, the defender went on to insist that his side would do everything in their power to try and catch up with United and try and win the league, despite the odds not being in their favour at the current moment in time.
"It's out of our hands but we've got to keep going and if United slip up then we've got to be there to capitalise"

"If they don't, then obviously it's going to be impossible for us to catch them now. We're professional and we owe it to the fans that we're not going to roll over and die.”
At one point in the season, City were six points ahead of United, with everyone believing that the team would easily go on and claim the Premier League crown.
However, a series of poor results and a rather poor display in their away games in 2012, saw the team drop their lead and they now sit a massive eight points behind United.
Nonetheless, should City manage to win the remainder of their games, while beating United along the way, they could still stand a very minimal chance of somehow going on to win the league.
