Herring is one tough SOB, but Lesnar is not only a world class wrestler, but also a world class athlete.  He moves like a welterweight and will be near 280 lbs. by fight time.  Lesnar will win by TKO, and Herring will be looking pretty beat up when it's all over.  Herring has not seen a wrestler like Lesnar.  Erickson or Kerr ain't Lesnar by a long shot.

This really could go either way - Herring would (probably) win a standup fight, but the chances of this fight staying on the feet is slim. I don't see Herring having an answer for Brocks takedowns - so it comes down to (in my opinion) whether Herring is good enough off of his back to submit Brock, or whether Brock has picked up enough sub defense to stay out of trouble until he can finish Heath with ground and pound.

I think after his loss to Mir, Brock will have trained an awful lot of sub defense, and will be able to finish Heath midway through the first.

alright everybody is way off here. Brock lesnar hits herring in the back of the head with a punch ref stops it, puts them on there feet. herring gets in north south position at some point on the ground and gets disqualified for being pissed off and delivering 10 consecutive knee strikes to the back of lesnars head. victory goes to lesnar but he wont be awake to see it.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say Herring takes this by decision.  He's fought and beat bigger men than Lesnar, and wrestlers with better wreslting (not WWE) credentials.  I can see Lesnar getting the take down but I don't see him having an answer for when Herring rolls and turtles like he did with Kongo.  

Herring's been doing this for 14 years and I don't see him being able to submit Brock like Mir did, but I do see him having enough ground game to roll out of trouble and sweep Lesnar.  Then we'll see what Brock is made of when he's on his back for the first time.
