Hi all!!!

Okay so for my daughters first birthday I wanted to get a bunch of photo albums as party favors for family members & put pics a few of kate in it along with a list of things my baby has taught me - I was going to call it "lessons Ive learned from baby Kate"

anyway it just made me wonder what other "lessons" has your baby/children taught you about life/love & happiness?

  1. I've leanred to clean up better after myself and eat healthier. Leading by example is difficult. I now have to push myself everyday to get out and get excersis and keep my routines.

  2. What a great question!!

Hmmm, there are lots.  The most important thing my daughter has taught me is that it is possible to love another human being as much as I love her.  It's truly overwhelming.

I've also learned to enjoy the simple things in life, and try not to rush my daughter through life.  She is always my first prioirity, even if that means being late for work.  If she wants to stop and smell the flowers on the way to the daycare (literally!), that's okay.  As adults, we don't do these things enough, and I want her to enjoy the simple things and not feel rushed all the time.  I think that is very important.

  3. Well, the big answer for me is that he's taught me how powerful love can really be.  I used to think I know what it meant to love someone, but I was wrong....

AND...being a mother has taught me that baby wipes can clean ANYTHING!  lol

    Happy birthday to Kate!!
