Its a great idea but the problem is that you need everyone to do it and it just wont happen, people are scared but are willing to do zero......

Not driving locally is a good idea but if Americans can't do road trips a lot of folks in the hospitality /tourism industry are going to be hurting come September

Sounds good and might help but with a mortgage, medical bills children, grandchildren and my wife and I both own Harleys we don't have that option.We work weekends.

excellent idea, but i too work tonight but won't drive after i get home in the morning. . . and i think you may be hearing mostly from those of us who can't - hopefully, others are listening!  and it's not just about the $$, is it?  Good luck!

good idea, but the gas companies will raise prices even more so they make more on weekdays to make up for the lost profit.  How else will the oil company owners make payments on thier mulit million dollar houses?
