  1. Finally, I get to vent my spleen!

    1) War

    2) Poverty

    3) Religious intolerance

    4) Sexual oppression

    5) The Dark Ages

    6) Pollution

    7) Global Warming

    8) Overpopulation

    9) The unjust legal system

    10) Globalisation

There was a long time where women had no influence on the wider world- I'm afraid men have to take responsibility for any **** ups (and there are a GREAT MANY) that happened during that time.

P.S All men are genetically incomplete females.

  2. What about SLAVERY.  Oh, no, that's true.  That IS the fault of the patriarchy.  What about WAR!  Ooops, once again, true.  This question is too hard.  Since the Patriarchy WAS in charge, everything theoretically was the fault of the patriarchy.

  3. The Chicago Cubs leading the NL Central.  Wait, I already blamed feminism for that.  Never mind.

  4. Why do so many people here keep deluding themselves that the patriarchy still exists and that feminists still give a d**n about it?

  5. PMS is the fault of The Patriarchy... Ooops! Apparently top feminist scientists have proved this to be true http://www.abc.net.au/health/features/st...

  6. You mean we get to change from "lets blame feminism" .  Great!

  7. Religious extremists.

    Hey - you said absurd!

  8. The fact that there are still so many dissatisfied wives out there.... Who have dudd, controlling, abusive, whingeing husbands.

But I guess that's not a 'trend' - It has always been that way!

For a family to 'work' it needs both a matriarch and patriarch' that share control and work together. I would like to think this is the more common situation these days.

  9. Don't you mean on the patriarch?

The practise of sati in some Indian subcultures, whereby the wife is expected to burn alive with her dead husband on his burning pyre in order to serve him in the after life.

    Peace

  10. William Hung.

He believed in himself; that he could achieve anything if he really wanted it bad enough.

    That's a patriarchal notion.

I blame the patriarchy for William Hung.
