Let's share wedding expences?

wouldn't it be cool if your budget was cut in half because someone else was planning a wedding and you could share all the stuff?

is there a website for that?

like dresses and stuff?

Your on to something. You should buy a bunch of really cool c**p for your wedding THEN when your wedding is over team up with the wedding planner and rent all your c**p to other people who are having weddings for like half the price.

THen by the time you've rented twice youve covered your overhead and any other rentals you can just make $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I don't know about dresses but that sounds like a good idea. I had some decorations like candle holders and stuff left over.

that is a really cool idea.. because after the wedding i just put all my wedding stuff into boxes and it's sitting in my basement.

i tried to give away the bows for free...but nobody wanted them.

my sister did use my rose bowls for her wedding and also some of the other decorations.

i don't think to many brides want to buy a used dress though - i had two wedding dresses (one never even worn) and i couldn't sell them at all.

its not an actuall wedding site but this site allows you to give away the things you no longer want to someone who needs them and vis versa if theres something your looking for put a post up asking for wedding supplies or decoratins usally you can find SOMEBODY that has SOMETHING you want good luck

I don't know if there is a particular website for that, might be.  Just wanted to mention Craigslist.org.  I have seen some beautiful wedding dresses, flower girl and bridesmaid dresses there at a fraction of the original cost.  Worth checking out in your area (under clothes)  Good luck.
